SAT/ACT Dates: |

Most colleges and universities
require the student to submit a
score from either the ACT or the
SAT. Students are encouraged to
take the test for the first time
around the middle of the junior
year, but no later than October
of the senior year. SAT and ACT
waivers are provided for those
students who meet certain
financial guidelines. One way to
determine financial need is if
the student qualifies for free
or reduced lunch in the school
cafeteria. The fee waiver not
only waives the cost of the
test, but also gives the student
the opportunity to submit
applications (waiving
application fees) to
participating colleges. |
